Butterfly Attracting Plants
Butterflies seek nectar as a food source and generally like bright flowers (white, yellow, purple, red). They seek mineralised water from river banks, mud puddles, decomposing faecal matter from birds and other animals.

Honey Eater Attracting Plants
Honey eating birds can consume up to their bodyweight in food comprising of grubs, insects and nectar each day.

Insect Attracting Plants
Insect attracting plants accommodate small insectivorous birds (Wrens, Robins, Warblers, Thorn bills, Whistlers and Finches).

Set up a bird bath or a frog friendly garden.

Refer to the Four Seasons of Colour list to see the species that bloom through each season. This will supply a constant supply of butterflies, nectar and seeds throughout the year.
